Founded in 1946 Servo pioneered the use
of infrared in thermal sensing applications ranging from military
heat seeking missiles to scanners to detect overheated bearings
in railroad train wheels.
Servo's corporate headquarters, engineering, marketing and manufacturing occupy a modern 25,000 square foot facility in Westbury, New York. detection cells, fabrication, testing, and environmental
screening of infrared systems and special optics. Specialized
equipment includes six vacuum evaporator stations, two sputtering
stations, electron beam equipment, leak detectors,
humidity chambers, three environmental chambers,
spectrophotometers, a full range of electro-optic test equipment,
